I first became fascinated with batik at school where I discovered its unique 'magic'.

Since then I have gone on to explore many art forms and techniques. I am a qualified teacher of many years and I still work part-time. I have a degree in Textiles, and an MA in Fine Art. Although I also produce works in painting, mixed media and ceramics, textiles, especially batik, still occupies much of my art work. Evidence of my explorations in batik can be seen at my Mezzanine Gallery in Stackpole, Pembrokeshire. During the summer months It is open to the public every Saturday (all other days by appointment).

At present I teach Textiles as part of Trinity College creative outreach programme. I have exhibited widely in many selected exhibitions. I am now producing a series of quilts with my students for an exhibition this spring as part of the Carmarthen Museum programme. Although these quilts were inspired by welsh design,s I have also incorporated some batik techniques into their production.
